Qinza Inter-Disciplinary Artist

Qinza
This collection of paintings using phrases with dual meanings, based around the concept of acculturation of immigrants. The phrases reflect the different phases of acculturation and the psychological dilemmas immigrants undergo when they leave their place of birth to a new homeland. No matter what the motivation for migration, these apply to anyone who has ever left home and made a new one elsewhere.
